Tyler Eaton now provides a cable-free wireless realtime system.  Seating availability for attorneys is no longer determined by the placement of serial cables, and realtime is no longer accompanied by a conference room table cluttered with cables.  After a one-time load of drivers, simply plug the wireless receiver into your computer, select the COM port, and you are ready to receive wireless realtime.  Wireless realtime allows attorneys to be able to move up to 300 feet away from the reporter and still receive transmissions from the reporter’s computer.  

If there are members of your team that would like to try this new technology, we will be happy to demonstrate wireless realtime and set up their computers to be able to receive transmissions.  Attorneys’ computers need to have Livenote or Summation for realtime loaded (or other software program that is realtime ready) and administrative rights to the computer system upon arrival for the deposition. 

The Stenocast USB EZ receiver that is part of our realtime equipment requires that drivers be installed on your computer; therefore, for the initial one-time setup, please arrive at the deposition a bit early. If you have the USB EZ Receiver hardware at the time of installation, you may install these drivers.
